The cretan breakfast was historically the most important meal for the locals as being an energy source in order to cope with the agricultural activities that was the main production sector of Crete. Originating from the Mediterranean diet, cretan diet includes many local products with limited processing which for some people it is the secret for the long living of the Cretans.
The breakfast in Ontas hotel is based on the traditional Cretan breakfast using fresh ingredients from local producers of the finest quality. There are two different breakfast types in order to cover the wide variety of cretan diet.
